The Research Project REMOTE is reviewed in Brussels

The EU funded research project REMOTE (integrated and modular system for remote health and social care to support independent living of elderly with chronic conditions living in rural and isolated areas) has entered its second half. At the review held on 18 April 2011 in Brussels, in which all partners reported on the actual status of the project results to the European Commission, Netscouts presented the work package “Dissemination”. Such encompasses the dissemination of information and the advertisement of the project through newsletters, flyers, posters as well as through the website www.remote-project.eu. In the next phase Netscouts shall focus on preparation of a test environment and shall identify user requirements in order to advance such at a later time. It is planned to utilise the significant support of the Boxdorfer Wohnanlage (Boxdorf Residence for Disabled Individuals) for instance, within the framework of a resident workshop, whereby sensors can be introduced, simple application trials can be performed, and an exchange of information on usability can occur.
